In the rapidly developing Neukölln district, the Griessmühle is a laid-back location occupying a former grain mill right on the banks of the canal. The club is open almost every day of the week and offers various programs such as movie screenings and ping pong matches during the week. On weekends, the club transforms into the ultimate dance party, with DJs playing House, Techno, Disco, and a bit of UK Bass. The industrial, run down building features an interior which is divided into a few different floors, where there is a lot of dancing going on. But the main event is happening outside. There is an extensive garden leading down to the canal with lovely lounge areas where you can chill under a tree and look at the water. Outside, you won’t be able to miss the large industrial water tanks and shabby furniture, all of which contribute to the casual and easy vibe here. The venue hosts a flea market on its grounds almost every Friday, as well as a new record shop right next door.  The crowd is pretty casual and unassuming, ranging in ages between 20 and 35. The door policy can be strict, but usually fair.
