Hidden in a small forest, this club in Kreuzberg near the Treptower has a distinct vintage feel. The Loftus Hall first opened its doors in 2010, and is still considered to be an insider’s tip, mostly visited by young and hip Berliners.  The 60s décor has been maintained from the previous use of the space, which was both a wedding venue and sports bar. There are flower garlands everywhere and the walls are charmingly covered in old-fashioned wood panels. There is a smoking bar inside, so don’t have to step out to smoke. The Irish owner, Dara O’Neill, was previously the head of the well-known Spreewaldplatz based club, The Kleine Reise, and has brought the same musical taste to the Loftus Hall. The program is quite ambitious and mainly focuses on Techno, Disco and House rhythms, but the occasional HipHop and Swing tune can also find its way to the dancefloor. The bookings usually begin around 23:00 and never seize to surprise the guests.
The parties here take place every Friday through Sunday, but outside of rave hours, yoga sessions can be enjoyed.
