Right across the river from Treptower Park, in an unrenovated apartment building in Friedrichshain, is the wildly popular Wild Renate. In the past it has been this said that the club is the Berghain’s more intimate sister.  The program features both local and international DJs, with a strong focus on Techno and House music every Saturday and Sunday night. Some well-known names include dOP, Prins Thomas, Axel Boman or the UK group Crazy P, along with resident DJs Peak & Swift and Sebastian Voigt.  Inside, you will find three different dancefloors; Schwarzer Raum on the ground floor, focuses on Techno. Upstairs, the Grüner Raum is all about House rhythms and the Roter Raum slows things down with Disco and a more relaxed vibe. There is a convenient sweets stand, when your sugar levels get a little low, as well as a photo booth for commemorating the wild evenings at the Renate. Outside, you will find a lovely courtyard with a bar and plenty of lounging areas, for when the hedonistic atmosphere inside gets to be too much.  The Renate gives guests a unique and uninhabited theatrical partying experience. The design is eccentric and fantasy-like, and the parties know no restraints—so prepare yourself.
